Dining Facility Attendant

Summary of Function

The Dining Facility Attendant supports daily dining operations, including food preparation assistance, serving, cleaning, equipment operation, and general kitchen support. This role contributes to a safe, efficient, and customer focused dining environment for one of Motivera Search Group’s valued client partners.

  • Prepares reports, correspondence, and documentation as assigned.

  • Assists with additional projects or duties as assigned.

 

Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Duties:

  • Maintains regular and punctual attendance.
  • Assists cooks with food preparation tasks as assigned.
  • Supports food service operations, including serving meals and managing food line activities.
  • Performs routine and deep cleaning tasks, including dishwashing, waste removal, and sanitation duties.
  • Assists with cleaning and basic maintenance of kitchen equipment.
  • Provides guidance and support to individuals participating in food service activities, as applicable.
  • Maintains appropriate supervision and ensures a safe working environment for all participants.
  • Interacts with others in a professional, respectful, and supportive manner.

 

Reporting Relationship

Reports to: Food Services Director (or Client Designated Supervisor)

Supervisory Relationship

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

Job Specifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in food service or large scale meal preparation preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license.
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand/eye coordination, pushing/pulling, and prolonged standing or sitting.
