ASSISTANT – VISITOR CENTER & SNACK BAR
Summary of Function
Motivera Search Group is seeking a Visitor Center & Snack Bar Assistant to support daily operations, customer service, retail sales, and visitor coordination. This role combines hospitality, retail, and administrative support, ensuring guests and customers enjoy a welcoming, efficient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide courteous and timely customer service at the snack bar
- Assist with ordering, pricing, stocking, and maintaining inventory
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in all work areas
- Train and guide team members participating in snack bar operations
- Manage files, records, and documents related to snack bar and visitor services
- Greet and welcome visitors, assign guest accommodations, and coordinate tours
- Schedule tour guides, refreshments, and related activities
- Receive and direct incoming calls, mail, and packages
- Support visitor center operations and special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 1 year of retail or customer service experience preferred
- Basic competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency with general office and snack bar equipment
- Strong time management, organizational, and detail-oriented skills
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to bend, lift, push/pull, and stand or sit for prolonged periods
- Valid Texas driver’s license required
- Availability for occasional travel, nights, and weekends
