About Us:
My client is a trusted name in custom steel fabrication, specializing in structural steel packages, heavy steel equipment, and precision manufacturing. As we enter our busy season, we’re seeking contract Welder Fabricators to join our team and help us maintain our high standards of quality and efficiency.
Position Overview:
This hands-on role requires extreme attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Experience with structural welding, flux-core, and construction is a plus, but all welding backgrounds are welcome.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate welding equipment and perform production welding to meet quality standards
- Interpret and follow blueprints and verbal instructions
- Sand, grind, and clean welds to specification
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Complete assigned side tasks and meet production schedules
Skills & Qualifications:
- Certified welder or ability to pass a welding test
- Ability to read diagrams, blueprints, and shop drawings
- Familiarity with welding symbols and measuring tools
- Experience with MIG, ARC, FCAW, plasma cutters, torches, grinders, and hand tools
- Knowledge of metals and alloys
- Physical strength, stamina, and flexibility
- Ability to weld in vertical and horizontal positions
- Comfortable working in extreme temperatures and environments
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Reliable attendance and ability to work a full-time schedule:
Mon–Thurs 7:00am–5:30pm, with Friday overtime as needed

Shift:
- Monday-Thursday
- Friday as needed and is overtime
- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
