Job Description:

Pay Range: $1,500 – $1,800 per week
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Amarillo, TX

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized General Concrete Superintendent to oversee all concrete operations on commercial and/or residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing crews, coordinating daily activities, ensuring high quality workmanship and maintaining project schedules and safety standards.

A bilingual (English/Spanish) skill set is required to effectively communicate with diverse crews and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all concrete activities including layout, forming, pouring, finishing, and curing.
• Manage and supervise concrete crews, subcontractors, and equipment operators.
• Communicate and coordinate daily tasks with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and industry standards.
• Inspect and verify the quality and accuracy of all concrete work.
• Maintain and monitor project schedules, adjusting workflows to meet deadlines.
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure adherence to OSHA and company safety protocols.
• Order materials, schedule deliveries, and maintain inventory control for concrete-related items.
• Identify and resolve onsite issues quickly and effectively.
• Complete accurate daily reports, logs, and required documentation.

Qualifications

• Bi?Lingual (English/Spanish) – Required.
• 5+ years of experience in concrete construction, with 2+ years in a supervisory or lead position.
• Strong knowledge of concrete forming, placing, finishing, rebar installation, and site preparation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and technical documentation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
• Strong knowledge of jobsite safety and OSHA standards.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk on uneven surfaces for extended periods.

Compensation & Benefits

• Weekly Pay: $1,500 – $1,800 based on experience.
