Millwright / High Level Supervisor (Crew Lead) – Amarillo, TX
Travel Required: 80–85% Home Most Weekends
Motivera Search Group is hiring for a skilled Millwright and a High-Level Millwright Supervisor to lead a crew on multi-state industrial projects. About the Role
Both positions require extensive travel (approximately 80–85%) with frequent overtime. You’ll support industrial customers by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment in fast-paced, multi-discipline environments. Travel pay and support are provided.
The High-Level Supervisor role includes leading crew, coordinating tasks, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting project execution from start to finish. Both roles contribute to long-term workforce development and training, helping build a strong, skilled team for the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial machinery
- Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, telehandlers, and trucks
- Move, transfer, and set machinery at various job sites
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and layout plans
- Perform precision measurements using standard measuring tools
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Work effectively with team members both on-site and in the shop
- Adapt to changing job duties and environments
- For Supervisor Role: Lead a crew, assign tasks, ensure safety, and support project planning
- Support ongoing workforce development and training initiatives
Required & Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of TIG welding experience (preferred)
- Experience welding aluminum (preferred)
- Ability to pass a welding certification test upon hire
- 1+ year of machine shop experience (preferred)
- Must be able to read, speak, and write English
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Valid driver’s license required
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Comfortable operating and working around large industrial machinery
- Must have welding gear and tools for the position
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
