Motivera Search Group is a purpose-driven staffing firm committed to connecting skilled individuals with meaningful work. We’re currently hiring a full-time Material Handler for a respected steel fabrication partner expanding into larger projects. This role is ideal for someone who values safety, independence, and quality craftsmanship in a fast-paced shop environment.

Position Overview

As a Material Handler, you’ll be responsible for unloading steel shipments, tagging inventory, and moving materials in and out of the shop for processing. Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in varying warehouse conditions are essential.

 Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily forklift safety checks
• Unload and inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy and quality
• Organize stock using forklifts, chains, cranes, and other equipment
• Pull materials to fulfill job orders accurately and on time
• Prepare and load steel shipments for delivery
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with project managers and supervisors
• Document material movements and maintain accurate records
• Keep equipment and work areas clean and organized
• Assist with additional tasks and side jobs as needed

Requirements

• Experience as a Material Handler, Forklift Operator, or Warehouse Associate
• Familiarity with manufacturing or construction inventory systems (training provided)
• Skilled in operating forklifts, combilifts, and other warehouse equipment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods
• Comfortable working in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, rain, snow)
• Forklift license or willingness to obtain one
• Reliable attendance and availability for occasional overtime

Schedule

• Monday-Thursday
• 7:00am-5:30pm, 4-10's
• Overtime as needed on Fridays
