GROUNDSKEEPER

SUMMARY OF FUNCTION

Motivera Search Group is looking for a dependable and hardworking Groundskeeper to assist with groundskeeping activities, including landscaping, lawn and plant care, pest control, greenhouse production, flowerbed maintenance, and related functions.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

• Demonstrates professionalism, dependability, and respect when working with others.

• Follows established safety procedures, policies, and work instructions.

• Communicates effectively with supervisors and team members.

• Properly uses and maintains assigned tools and equipment.

• Performs additional duties and projects as assigned.

JOB-SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties

• Exhibits regular and punctual attendance.

• Assists with landscaping activities as assigned.

• Assists with farm and ranch activities as assigned.

• Assists with lawn and plant care activities.

• Assists with pest and weed control activities.

• Assists with maintaining equipment, tools, and shop areas.

• Maintains greenhouse and planting activities.

• Maintains flowerbeds and landscaped areas.

• Monitors for insects, weeds, diseases, and deficiencies affecting flowers and plants.

• Assists with the proper care and maintenance of flowers, plants, trees, and other landscaping.

• Performs general grounds maintenance and cleanup.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED equivalency required.

• Proficiency in general horticulture equipment operation required.

• Must possess strong time-management and detail-oriented skills.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Must possess a valid Texas driver's license.

• Must be able to perform physical activities including bending, lifting, grasping, pushing/pulling, and prolonged sitting or standing.

• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Must be available for travel as needed.
