Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Material Handler for a manufacturing facility in Fort Worth. This position requires previous sit-down forklift experience and the ability to safely move, stage, load, and organize materials throughout the facility.
While the employee will operate a forklift for a significant portion of the shift, they must also be willing and able to perform hands-on material handling and general production duties whenever needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate a sit-down forklift in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
- Load, unload, move, stage, and organize raw materials and finished products.
- Transport materials between production, staging, storage, and shipping areas.
- Assist with manual loading and unloading when forklift use is not required.
- Stack and organize materials safely on pallets.
- Shrink-wrap and strap finished materials and pallets for storage or shipment.
- Prepare and stage materials for production and outgoing shipments.

- Follow forklift operating procedures and all facility safety requirements.
- Perform basic pre-shift forklift inspections and report equipment or safety concerns.

- Ability to safely lift and handle materials weighing up to approximately 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
- Must be dependable and maintain good attendance and punctuality.
- Must be able to follow safety procedures and instructions.
- Must be willing to work overtime when production demands require additional hours.
- Steel-toe work boots required.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced forklift operator who understands that this is a hands-on manufacturing position, not just a forklift driving position. We are looking for someone who is dependable, safety-conscious, productive, and willing to step off the forklift to help the team with material handling, wrapping, strapping, loading, and general production duties when needed.
