Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Lumber Yard Employee to join our team in Godley, TX. This position involves working in a lumber yard, safely operating a forklift, pulling and staging lumber orders, restocking returned materials, and helping maintain an organized yard.

The ideal candidate enjoys physical work, is comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, and has previous forklift or material handling experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move and stage lumber and building materials.
• Pull, organize, and prepare lumber orders.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Restock returned lumber and maintain inventory.
• Keep the lumber yard clean, organized, and safe.
• Perform general labor duties as assigned.
• Lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay

• $17.00–$18.00 per hour
• Full-Time
• Temp-to-Hire

Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Previous lumber yard, construction, building materials, or outdoor warehouse experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors year-round.
• Steel-toed boots required.
• Reliable transportation and good attendance are essential.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
