Position Overview
Motivera Search Group is seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join a growing team in Canyon, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and metal fabrication, along with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. This role involves working with a variety of fabrication tools and welding methods to assemble high-quality metal components while maintaining safety and production standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine project specifications
• Utilize power tools, hand tools, micrometers, calipers, and measuring equipment accurately
• Perform MIG, Stick, and/or TIG welding based on project requirements
• Fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications
• Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and workmanship standards are met
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
• Follow all company and safety procedures at all times

Qualifications

• Previous experience in welding and metal fabrication required
• Experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment preferred
• Experience with aluminum wire and TIG welding strongly preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve fabrication issues as they arise
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Must be able to successfully pass the following weld tests:
  • Wire Welding: 3F & 4F weld tests using .035 Hardwire
  • TIG Welding: 2F & 3F Stainless and Aluminum weld tests
  • Stick Welding: 3F & 4F weld tests using 1/8” 6010 5P+ and 7018 rods
