Schedule
Monday – Friday, TRAVELING with overtime, nights, and weekends as required by customer projects and operational demands.


Position Overview
Motivera Search Group is seeking a skilled and motivated Millwright to join a growing field service team in Canyon, TX. This position is ideal for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude, industrial maintenance experience, and a safety-first mindset.
The Millwright will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of industrial equipment and machinery in manufacturing and agricultural environments. The ideal candidate will have experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of industrial projects while continuing to build technical skills in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Install, align, assemble, and maintain industrial machinery and equipment using precision measuring tools and technical schematics
  • Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mill, and grain systems
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in time-sensitive and safety-focused environments
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and schematics accurately
  • Operate forklifts, aerial lifts, scissor lifts, and additional equipment as needed during installation and repair projects
  • Safely work at heights while utilizing proper fall protection and safety procedures
  • Support equipment reliability and minimize downtime through preventative maintenance practices
  • Follow all company and customer safety procedures, including LO/TO, confined space entry, Hot Work, HAZMON, and other site-specific safety requirements
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers to complete projects safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a professional attitude, strong work ethic, and dependable attendance

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience as a Millwright, Industrial Maintenance Technician, or related mechanical position preferred
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of industrial equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, and machinery repair
  • Experience working in manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural environments
  • Proficient with measuring instruments including tape measures, micrometers, calipers, and laser transit systems
  • Stick welding experience required; multi-process welding experience is a plus
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work flexible schedules and travel when required
  • Valid Driver’s License preferred
  • CDL is considered a plus, but not required
  • Must be dependable, safety-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team
