Building Materials Store Stocker – Godley, TX

Motivera Search Group is seeking a dependable Store Stocker for a building materials and hardware store in the Godley, TX area. This is a 1st-shift, temp-to-hire opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, keeping merchandise organized, and assisting customers.

Pay: $16.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift
Start Time: 8:00 AM
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire, with potential conversion after 90 days

Job Responsibilities:

• Stock and organize tools, hardware, building materials, and other merchandise.
• Unpack boxes and place products in the correct locations.
• Keep shelves, displays, and merchandise clean and organized.
• Assist customers with locating products and answer basic questions.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Help receive and organize incoming merchandise.
• Maintain clean and safe aisles and work areas.
• Sweep, dust, clean shelves, and remove boxes and packaging.
• Lift, carry, and move merchandise as needed.
• Assist with general store and stocking duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous stocking, retail, warehouse, building materials, hardware, or general labor experience preferred.
• Comfortable working with customers.
• Dependable and able to maintain good attendance.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
• Able to safely lift and move merchandise.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.
