Shop Assistant

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Position Summary

Motivera Search Group is seeking a dependable and hardworking Shop Assistant to support daily operations within our shop environment. The ideal candidate will assist with organizing materials, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, supporting production and warehouse activities, and ensuring efficient workflow throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing materials and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, warehouse, and work areas.
• Load, unload, and move materials as needed.
• Support technicians, operators, and shop personnel with daily tasks.
• Perform inventory counts and report shortages or discrepancies.
• Operate basic shop equipment and tools safely.
• Package and prepare products, materials, or orders for shipment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Complete general labor and shop support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous shop, warehouse, manufacturing, or general labor experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic mechanical aptitude preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workday.
• Ability to safely handle materials and equipment.
• Comfortable working in a shop or industrial environment.
