Moving Helper

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Load and unload furniture, boxes, packages, and other household items from moving trucks and trailers.
• Lift, carry, and push items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Help wrap and protect furniture and belongings to prevent damage.
• Place items where directed and help keep walkways and work areas clear.
• Work with the crew to move large or bulky items safely.
• Treat customers, their homes, and their belongings with care and respect.
• Follow the crew leader’s instructions and company safety procedures.

Requirements

• Dependable attendance and punctual arrival at the designated meeting location.
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, carrying, pushing, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to work beyond 8 hours when needed to complete the assignment.
• Clean, presentable jeans, a clean shirt, and appropriate shoes.
• Visible tattoos must be covered while working.
• Willingness to remove shoes when requested before entering a customer’s home.
• A respectful attitude and ability to work well with others.
