Grounds Keeper

Job Title: Groundskeeper / Yard Loader
Pay Rate: $18.00–$20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Location: Godley area
Job Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:

The Groundskeeper / Yard Loader will support daily yard operations by loading and unloading products, staging inventory, preparing customer orders, and keeping the yard and grounds clean, safe, and organized. The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working outdoors.

Job Duties:

• Safely load and unload trucks and trailers.
• Move, organize, and stage finished products throughout the yard.
• Prepare customer orders and delivery loads accurately.
• Help count and organize outdoor inventory.
• Maintain clean and professional customer-facing areas.
• Perform mowing, weed eating, sweeping, trash removal, and general grounds maintenance.
• Use hand and power tools to cut wood, grind materials, and prepare pallets or dunnage.
• Assist other departments and yard operations as needed.

Qualifications:

• Dependable with good attendance.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read customer orders and use basic math.
• Ability to communicate well and work as part of a team.
• Hand and power tool experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be comfortable working outdoors in hot, cold, and changing weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds as needed.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, climb, and operate equipment throughout the workday.
